Compatibility

We know it’s hard to believe that a system can truly be universal...

But with MagMod it’s true!

The MagMod modifier system works because of the universal design of the MagGrip 2. The MagGrip 2 is a patented design made of high-quality silicone rubber which makes it easy to stretch and fit onto almost any hot-shoe flash. In addition, the MagGrip 2 contains two rare earth magnets used to attach the MagMod line of flash modifiers including the MagGrid 2, the MagSphere 2, the MagBounce 2, and more!

There’s only one MagGrip design, so you don’t have to worry about getting different sizes for different flashes. While we haven't tested the MagGrip 2 with every flash on the market, we are confident that the MagGrip will work with most flashes that have a rectangular flash head and round head flashes.

    Haven’t unwrapped it yet, but its exactly what the the creative Dr. ordered, especially at this price point. Lindsey Adler has an optical snoot thats amazing, but irs at a significantly higher price point, so if your work load can’t justify the expenditure the MagnetMod MagBeam Pro Kit is the one for you.

    WOW!

    Been thinking and procrastinating about this for a long time, and wish I had gotten this a long time ago. As usual, the MagBeam Pro kit was super easy to start using, and after watching the quick YouTube video, I as ready to go with it. Used it first with some headshots for a creative background and had a ton of "WOW" responses - and being able to swap out gels to match outfits was effortless, and made the clients really love their session.
