Wish it would have come with two wallets to accommodate the masks and gels. Just one doesn’t really work. The baggies are nice but wish they were different colors so you could tell just by looking what’s inside. Mag beam requires a little adjusting for accuracy. Overall this is a convenient setup. Simple bounce flash is still king though.

Honestly I had been back and forth on getting the mega kit for months, maybe even a year. I had seen magmod come out and knew that the ideas they had were much simpler than other light modifiers I had seen...but I was so surprised at seriously how easy it is to set up and change lighting set ups on the fly. I own a studio and with the magmod I can add in gels and backlights with ease using the magsphere and gels on my speedlights. It works wonderfully well and my clients love how fast I can go! Would 100% recommend to anyone on the fence about buying it. The magnets are AMAZINGLY strong, hard as heck to knock off but also easy enough to pop off when you need them to. Just....perfection!

I love just how easy it is to use, but it has such a huge variety of uses. No more struggling in the wind with an umbrella or huge softbox.
I love the ease of changing modifiers, and LOVE the MagGels. I use some variety of the equipment at every wedding and every portrait shoot. Thank you MagMod.

I ordered the whole shebang and feel ZERO buyers remorse! I'm having fun using all the different modifiers in my own art as well as using the MagSphere and MagGrid every day at work. This has brought my light to a whole new level! For those who really like to get creative with light, I recommend buying the whole kit and letting your inspiration flow!
