On a recent shoot, I handed an unassembled MagBox Pro 24 Octa and a MagMod Speedring to my set designer (who dabbles in photography) and timed him as he assembled it in 25 seconds. I love using this softbox! I have ocd so having the ability to set up without having to worry about setting things on the floor or having multiple things to put together makes the experience just 1000 times better. I started with the 24” and moved on to the 42” and still in love. It’s easy and helpful! Maybe it’s just me but the light that I get from magmod softboxes is just better, I was using a different one before this and the light always seemed a little flat compared to now. Again it might just be me but I noticed a huge difference.
