I am using these with the new beauty dish and I’m glad a solution for gels is available, but I feel as though there could be a better way to attach these overall. They are also pretty hard to travel with and store in a case, especially since they often get wedged together pretty tightly. I actually scratched one when I tried to separate them after they first arrived. I now store them with gift wrap tissue paper between them. They work well otherwise and match other cto gels from MagMod.

Correction Dome Gels
They attach to the MagMod octa 24 & 42 with easy. However, they are very hard to dethatch, having to perform a coordinated squeeze of the gel from both sides to release it from the rim. Concern it these dome gels will crack over time. Its the first MagMod product that I would consider just average and beneath the quality of their other products.

Thanks for the comments! We find the easiest way to remove the Dome Gels is to place 2-3 finger on the top of the Dome Gel and then pull down and away while applying a little pressure to the top.
