The MagMod modifier system works because of the universal design of the MagGrip 2. The MagGrip 2 is a patented design made of high-quality silicone rubber which makes it easy to stretch and fit onto almost any hot-shoe flash. In addition, the MagGrip 2 contains two rare earth magnets used to attach the MagMod line of flash modifiers including the MagGrid 2, the MagSphere 2, the MagBounce 2, and more!
There’s only one MagGrip design, so you don’t have to worry about getting different sizes for different flashes. While we haven't tested the MagGrip 2 with every flash on the market, we are confident that the MagGrip will work with most flashes that have a rectangular flash head and round head flashes.

Creativity Expanded
I've had the ad200's for a while and I've seen magmod stuff advertised a ton on YouTube and places. So I finally broke down and decided to try some pieces and had the itch to get creative with some lighting. I LOVE the possibilities this simple system opens up for playing around with color. The picture I've attached is using a purple gel to cast light on grayish blue background, and a yellow gel on the model to make the fabric and textures of the mask pop. This entire series turned out amazing.

Beautiful
Learning how to gel is fun and challenging. I practice on my mannequin head almost daily. These gels turn my boring dining room into a cool venue. I know it's not perfect but I took this last night shooting through drinking glasses. I used the Purple Pro Creative Gel with a MagGrid on an AD200 through glasses and an AD200 with a Magenta Gel and MagSphere on my curtains in the back for the silhouette effect. For my first attempt I'm pretty happy. I'm trying to learn as many lighting techniques as possible. Every time MagMod comes out with new lighting recipes I bookmark them. I am thankful for all the content on YouTube and am always looking for more.
