When testing the Diffusion Dome in the XL reflector by itself, and with the MagSphere XL, I was able to see a very subtle difference in the speculator highlights, but there was a difference. Although the light output of MagSphere XL is so extremely soft and even, your subject will look great without the dome diffusion, I'm still happy with the decision. So much so, that I ordered a 2nd dome diffusion gel!!

Was expecting this to help spread the light better inside the soft box. To reduce the hot spot. I have been using the MagSphere to help even the light inside my soft box.
