This is an authentic product that makes my photography easier to achieve. The XL has replaced my bigger softboxes and have given me less stress in windy situations. Its also cool and I would say futuristic. Also let’s talk about the superb quality of the customer service. My experience has been amazing with MagMod. Recommended 100%!

I imagine most people buy a reflector with their first strobe, if it isn't bundled already. I've had one for YEARS, and I can count the number of times I've used it on, well, no hands. Never been a fan of hard light, and never wanted to kit it out with grids or diffusion, mostly because storage is as obnoxious as taking it with me.

When the XL was announced, I scoffed. But I started to see sample shots and Pye's instructional/BTS videos pop up, and I got curious. WOW, so happy I bought it. Does it produce the same light as another 5.5" reflector? Probably. But the MagSphere really does provide a unique, slight softness, the 40° grid does its job, and like all MM gear, they make trying new ideas fast and painless. I made myself new headshots the other week with it, and couldn't be happier with the look.

if you love the magmod setup and use bigger strobes such as an ad300-600, you’re gonna love this even more. being able to have a collapsible yet extremely durable reflector already appealed to me but adding in the grid and magsphere xl, i knew this was something i couldn’t pass up
