Huge shoutout and standing o' to Rey Benasfre - this year's MagMod Halloween contest winner. Rey took home the win (and $100 in MagBucks, woot, woot!) with his fantastically spooky photograph of his son dressed as a plague doctor. Rey explained in the caption of photo is trick to pull off this photo treat.
"For this I had an AD200 with MagGrid camera left. Behind him I had my wife holding a Godox V1 with a 1/2 CTO MagGel and MagSphere in one had and in the other hand a can of Atmosphere Aerosol spray for smoke effect. Stars were added later in post processing. I shot it with the Sony A7RIV on a 16-35 lens at 1/5 sec, f2.8 at ISO 800."
Here's a behind the scenes image of the same photo showing the setup of lights.
